How to prepare your desk?

Keep your ID paper at hand. You will need it during the identification step beforehand your exam. |

Consider good lightning. Good lightning in your room is a basic requirment, and do not focus your camera on lighters. |
 |
Stay alone in the room. Ask other people to leave. You must be alone while teking your exam. |
 |
Keep silence. Stop music or radio. Try to minimize background noise. |
 |
Adjust your camera location. Make sure that your camera captures your face entirely as it is very important. |
 |
Learn more about exam rules. Can you use papers, books or drafts? Can you have a dring or a snack? Check this with your exam organizer. Also, keep an eye on system tooltips and rules notes. |

Examine your Internet connection. The connection stability is a must. It also must meet the minimal system requirements. |
 |
Using a laptop? Do not forget about its charger! Discharging battery may slow down your laptop significantly. |
 |
It is required to demo your desk before proceeding to your assignment to show that it meets exam rules and routines. Use your camera to show your desk and room. Turn your camera\laptop by 360 degrees or use a mirror and your smartphone camera to photo and demo it on camera. It is mandatory to demonstrate your desk where your Mac/PC/laptop is placed, area in front and around of you (examinee). You can shoot your display using your smartphone and demo the photo on your camera, it is option though. |
What should be avoided?

Certain "No" to extra displays and equipments. Do not connect the second display or a mouse, keyboard. Do not use tablets/smartphones and similar devices. The only exclusion is when you need to connect your smartphone as an auxiliary camera or if the second display is allowed by the exam rules. |

Certain "No" to headset usage. Do not wear headset while taking an exam if it is not allowed. |
 |
Avoid extra talks. Refrain from extra talks and noise. Murmuring also can be treated as a way of cheating with all consequences. |

Stay in camera focus not matter what. It is important to stay in frame until the end of your exam. If it is a writing quiz, it is important to capture not only you (examinee) face, but also hands and drafts where you write your answer. This can be achieved by moving your camera further from your position. |

Do not disconnect your camera and microphone. Lack of image or recording from camera/microphone will definitelly affect the final clue. |
 |
Do not use smartphones if it is not clearly allowed. You can double-check if this is allowed by asking your exam organizer. |
 |
Do not ask anybody to assist you. Assistance even from strangers may affect the exam results integrity. |
 |
Do not let your computer to anybody else! Even a glance at your screen made by a stranger may affect the exam results integrity. |
 |
Do not visit other websites and launch other apps! Do not open new tabs, do not use other apps like messengers, remote access and screen sharing softwares. |
 |
Do not use books, notes and drafts if it is not allowed! It is prohibited to use any tools and materials that are not clearly allowed. |
 |
Do not make screenshots or save assignment content anyhow. It is prohibited to cope, save or share assignment content and materials. |
 |
Do not divert your gaze. Try not to divert your gaze to often as it can be treated as a suspicious behaviour or even cheating. |

Where to place your camera for a hand-writing quiz?
- It is important to stay in frame until the end of your exam. If it is a writing quiz, it is important to capture not only you (examinee) face, but also hands and drafts where you write your answer. This can be achieved by moving your camera further from your position.
- Avoid positions when your face is invisible or visible partially.
