Camera driver update on Windows. How to?
If your camera does not perform as expected, you may need to update its driver to get it fixed.
Driver update
- Right-click on Start and select Device manager.
- There, select Imaging devices to locate your webcam.
- Right-click your webcam label there and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for drivers.
- If an updated will not be found automatically, you can proceed to the webcam manufacturer's website and download the driver from there.
- Relaunch your browser and start the System check over.
Driver reinstallation
- Navigate to Start > choose Device Manager.

Right-click your webcam label and select Uninstall device.
- Reboot your computer and Windows will install the driver.
- Relaunch your browser and start the System check over.
