Auxiliary camera and its QR-code. How to proceed?
Auxiliary camera is optional and can be enabled or disabled for your exam by your exam organizer before the exam starts. Auxiliary camera is a front camera of your smartphone. Once you connect it, you will be let to continue automatically:
NOTE: the auxiliary camera cannot replace the main webcam connected to your computer.
Technical requirements:
OS: iOS 14 and higher, Android 8 and higher.
Browser:
- Google Chrome 53 and higher;
- Safari 14 and higher;
- Firefox 36 and higher;
- Opera 41 and higher.
Auziliary camera connection:
- Before your exam, after the system check, you see a QR-code.
- Scan the QR-code using your smartphone.
- Open a link which is put in the QR-code in a browser on your smartphone.
- Allow access to your camera, start broadcasting.
NOTE: do not close and do not stop broadcasting until your exam is over.
You may get a system message to re-connect the auxiliary camera if it was disconnected:
Scan the QR-code that appears on your screen again.
